Women (I Know) I KNOW

I write a lot about my relationships with women.

Why? I don’t know. Or… perhaps I do know. It grows tiresome for most. (especially former Girlfriends/wives) This I know. I also know I have to write what I remember and know, and what I feel/felt, and knew. I recently re-watched “Alien”, a movie that kinda, sorta defined what I ‘was’ in the Sinai Desert in 1979. Not sure how to explain that one… but, yet… Sigourney Weaver…

Anyhow, I write about women. I write about women, and my relationships with women, because I love women. Most of them don’t love me, but none of them (them ‘wimmens’) can ever say they were ever bored with me…

Point is: I love women. I write about my experiences with women because my experiences with all the women in my past have made… me… a feminist.

I love the way they look. (And yes! I love the way they ‘cook’–metaphor–I am the ‘best cook’) I love the way they dress. I love the way they un-dress. I love the way they talk. I love the way they walk. I love the way they incite. I love the way they excite. I love the way they dance. I love the way they romance. I love the way they taste. I love the way they smell. I love the way they mostly… don’t tell.

And most of all, I love the way they piss me off,

(And drive me crazy.)

Yes. I love women.

The way they Made Me: Made me who I am.

And I like that.

I like this man called ‘Lance’, that a woman created in me

Him I like instinctively (No Choice)

But, what the hell?!

I am NOT a Fan of “Revoltin’” Bolton,

But I do like his rendition of this Original Percy Sledge song.

I am not callous, nor vindictive, and I do appreciate talent when I experience it.

  1. The thing I’ve often noticed in so many men is that every man loves lots of women. Any kind of woman. Without any choice. Let me explain: if I ask a man if he would like to do something with all the actresses of the cinema, he would say ok. And this is because a man does not have a specific type of woman in his mind but all women are fine.
If the same question were asked of me I would answer “with someone perhaps, but not with everyone”. And the reason is that I don’t like all men so as soon as I see them, in movies or music videos, I wouldn’t choose them all.
Instead I found that for a man all are good, young girls, teenagers, adult women, and any female in front of them. I don’t call this love but I call it sex.
If a man has desire for all the women he sees, meets and dreams of, I call this sexual lust and not love.
So I, for example, make a lot of difference between the feelings I can have for a man and sex. Sex can be done with anyone but a feeling, I’m talking about me, is born only for one and only man.

  2. What good is admitting some profit of doom can wipe all your smiles away.

Life is a cabaret old chum.

I love this post, and I love Cabaret. The movie is exqusiite and I love Joel Grey.

This was well done. And thank you for supporting the cause in a poetic and fun way as only you know how.

You are a master of your art (if not you, then who?)

Take care, Lance. And always love not just the Lance created, but the Lance born and the Lance cultivated by the truer Lance. That’s the Lance that keeps women from growing bored as he is real, he is beautiful, and he is the true lover.

  3. I never grow tired of watching Liza in ‘Cabaret’.
Thanks for coming by and ‘signing my Guest Book.’
    🙂

  4. I love this & you Lance <3 And I have no doubt you are never boring 😉 (1 of the reasons WHY I keep coming back!) You, my compadre, are a true admirer!! Cheers to a great post!! 🙂

  5. Thank you for reading this rather mushing musing.
I followed the link, read, and commented.
    Perfect and Spot On!
    Cheers to you Mélanie!

    Hahahaha!
You have a keen wit M’Lady.

  6. bravo & félicitations for this super-post, Monsieur Lance! yesss, you’re a woman lover… 🙂 btw, have you heard of the French poet Louis Aragon?… he stated:”la FEMME est l’avenir de l’homme…” – “WOMAN is man’s future…” 🙂 we simply are the whole mankind’s salvation, welcome-to-real life.com and remember to celebrate us every single day! 🙂

  7. I was cursed with ‘good looks’ at an early age, ergo; my love of women. (They accosted me; I loved it, yet did not know how to handle it–I was not yet mature enuff…)
    It has been a curse.
(and that is just an observation, not a testimony)
Now I am old and ugly. I can finally relax.
    Cheers,
    Lance
    And thanks for your comment.
    😉

  8. Some men might say that they are addicted to pussies. “I love the way it smells. I love the way it tastes.”

    Pussy anonymous.

But addicted to women, that’s a whole different level. “I love the way they dress. I love the way they smell.” Feminism. The love for the fairer sex, women.

  9. “I have never studied the art of paying compliments to women; but I must say that if all that has been said by orators and poets since the creation of the world in praise of women were applied to the women of America, it would not do them justice for their conduct during this war.”
    ― Abraham Lincoln

    Thanks Mark.
Now… I am at a loss. Which song is your line from?
(Guess I could ‘Google’ it, but you know how lazy I am.

    Cheers My Good Friend,
    -Lance

  10. ‘Cabaret’ is one of the best movies ever done. Everything ‘works’. I would love to see the stage version you mention here.
Thanks for stopping by and reading and as always, leaving great comments.
    Cheers,
    Lance

  11. great post – we men would be nothing without women

as Confucius once said (maybe) . . .

man is head of house, but woman is neck that turns head 😆

  12. You love women. Women love you. That’s what puts gas in your tank and makes getting out of bed every morning a less horrific ordeal.

I just saw a revival of Cabaret with Alan Cumming as the MC. He played it as a more dark, depraved character than Joel Grey. Both interpretations are great but Cumming’s sexually-ambiguous turned seem more appropriate for the story.
