Girl Walks Into A Bar September 25, 2022 by LAMarcom 4 Part Three and A-Half of A Sailor’s Scholarly Series on U.S. Naval History in The South Pacific (Part Three Here) So, a girl walks into a bar. Boom! Thunderbolt! I walked over to Mama-San, “Hey who’s the new girl?” “What new girl?” “The one with the long brown hair,” I said. “Goddam chew! They all have long brown hair. Where you think you are Sailor-Boy, Malibu?” “No. I mean that girl,” I said, pointing. “Oh ‘That Girl’” she said. “She is new, and don’t bother her.” “Yes, I know she is new. That is my point, for fuck sake.” “Leave her alone.” “She reminds me of someone,” I said. “Don’t we all? That is what we do here. We sell memories. We are in the memory business.” Share this:FacebookTwitterRedditMoreTumblrPrintPocketLinkedInEmailLike this:Like Loading...
I believe in the US of us: “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Magic.”
“just haven’t found the magic.”
That WAS magic.
Thanks Lee. I really need to finish this story. There is a lot more to it, but just haven’t found the magic. I appreciate your comment.
